Welcome to Herbal Nails & Spa - Mission Viejo ("we," "us," "our"). By using our website, booking appointments, visiting our spa, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please review them carefully before using our services.

Appointments and Booking

We recommend booking appointments in advance to ensure availability. Our booking policies include:

  • Advance Booking: Online booking and phone reservations are available during business hours
  • Appointment Confirmation: All appointments will be confirmed via phone, email, or text message
  • Walk-ins: We welcome walk-in clients based on availability, though appointments take priority
  • Group Bookings: Special arrangements available for parties, bridal groups, and events
  • Minor Clients: Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, or provide written consent

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

24-Hour Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a 50% service charge.

Late Arrivals: Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened session or rescheduling, depending on availability. No-shows will be charged the full service amount.

Pricing and Payment

  • Pricing: Service prices are subject to change without prior notice. Current pricing will be provided at time of booking and confirmed before service
  • Payment: Full payment is required at the time of service unless other arrangements are made in advance
  • Accepted Forms: We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and valid gift cards
  • Gratuities: Tips are appreciated but not required and are at the client's discretion
  • Package Services: Multi-service packages must be used within specified time frames

Gift Cards and Promotions

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash
  • Gift cards do not expire but must be presented at time of service
  • Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced
  • Promotions and special offers may not be combined unless explicitly stated
  • Promotional pricing is subject to availability and may have restrictions
  • Group discounts may be available for parties of 4 or more

Health and Safety

Your health and safety are our top priorities:

  • Medical Disclosure: Please notify us of any medical conditions, allergies, skin sensitivities, or current medications prior to your appointment
  • Pregnancy: Inform us if you are pregnant, as certain treatments may not be suitable
  • Infectious Conditions: Clients with contagious conditions will be rescheduled to protect staff and other clients
  • Sanitation: We follow strict sanitation protocols and use hospital-grade disinfectants
  • Equipment Sterilization: All reusable tools are properly sterilized between clients
  • Health Regulations: We comply with all local and state health department regulations

Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best service experience, clients are expected to:

  • Arrive clean and prepared for services
  • Remove nail polish before manicure/pedicure appointments (unless removal is part of the service)
  • Disclose all relevant health information and allergies
  • Follow aftercare instructions provided by technicians
  • Treat staff and other clients with respect and courtesy
  • Keep personal belongings secure during visits

Refunds and Satisfaction Policy

Your satisfaction is important to us:

  • Service Issues: If you are not satisfied with a service, please contact us within 48 hours so we can address your concerns
  • No Monetary Refunds: We do not provide cash refunds, but service adjustments or complimentary corrections may be made at management discretion
  • Allergic Reactions: If you experience an allergic reaction, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. We will work with you to resolve the issue
  • Product Purchases: Retail products may be exchanged within 7 days with receipt if unopened and in original condition

Liability and Risk Acknowledgment

  • Herbal Nails & Spa is not responsible for allergic reactions or adverse side effects resulting from our services or products
  • We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings left on premises
  • Clients acknowledge that nail and beauty services carry inherent risks and agree to these risks by receiving services
  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the service received
  • Clients with specific health conditions should consult their physician before receiving services

SMS/Text Messaging Terms

By opting in to our SMS/Text Messaging services, you agree to receive automated appointment reminders, service updates, promotional offers, and spa-related communications. You may opt out by replying STOP or OUT at any time. Message and data rates may apply based on your cellular plan.

Facility Rules and Conduct

  • Smoking and vaping are prohibited throughout the facility
  • Food and beverages are not permitted in treatment areas
  • Cell phone use should be kept to a minimum to maintain a relaxing environment
  • Children must be supervised at all times
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is disruptive or inappropriate
  • Photography of other clients or staff without permission is prohibited
